Tradition of London produces traditional style toy soldiers, made in England. Tradition of London manufacturers soldiers for collectors in 54mm size with a  hand painted gloss finish.  Since the 1960's quality and attention to detail has been the motto of this English manufacturer. Not only are the toy soldier figures and artillery items outstanding but so are the boxes which are embossed in a distinctive red package.

Pickup a Tradition of London toy soldier figure an look at the paint detail of the face; its amazing.  The facial features along with the painting of the eyes and lips show the time, care and pride taken in producing quality toy soldiers. I'm holding in my hand, as I write this description a Prussian Infantry soldier in Parade Dress, the detail is outstanding. the emblem on the black helmet, painted in gold, is highly distinguishable.  The gold on the black plume, the gold buttons, red jacket and rank markings is impressive. With the attention to detail it is understandable why collectors support Tradition of London toy soldiers and figures.

Here at Trains and Toy Soldiers we are eagerly awaiting the release of Tradition of London's Renault FT17 Tank with Gun, together with infantry painted. The FT17 tank is sure to sell out quickly. Along with toy soldier sets, United States Marine Corps 1917 and British Infantry 1914, Tradition Toy Soldiers also produces numerous single figures featuring such well known Officers as Kaiser Wilhelm II, Field Marshal Foch, and Field Marshal Lord Kitchener.

A popular series is the Toy Soldier Knights featuring King Henry V, Robert de Mamines, Almeric Saint Amand, Sir William Fitzwarin and Lord Cortenayy Earl of Devon to mention a few Knights in shining armour. Medieval Foot Knights are accompanied by their mounted counterpart; including Richard de Vere Earl of Oxford, Joan of Arc, Sir Richard Pembridge to mention a few.
