Introduced to meet more stringent emissions standards, the Tier 4-compliant GE Evolution locomotives have become a new standard on North American Railroads. Larger and easily distinguished from their older ES44 brethren by their peaked radiators, the ET44 can be spotted in all types of modern freight service. Knowing the ET44 is an essential model for modern train enthusiasts, Lionel has gone the extra mile to bring this locomotive to life. There have been many production differences between railroads and even between orders over the life of this locomotive already and our all-new tooling is no "generic" Tier 4! We've added multiple pilots, nose arrangements, dynamic brake and exhaust housings and so much more! We're even tooling up new modern crew figures for the cab. Under the hood, of course you'll get the sound and performance you're used to in a LEGACY diesel, but we've added a few more extras as well including walkway and platform lights, a lighted control stand in the cab, and for the first time outside of our VISION Line, 4 digit addressing capabilities with the new Base/Cab3! Where appropriate, even the LSL light on the side of the cab is illuminated. A SuperBass unit is also available for each road name along with 2 powered road numbers. Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
